Storyfest has a primary focus on literature but in addition has displayed an inclusiveness when it comes to promoting the arts in general - these being literature, music, theatre, film and the visual arts. Storyfest is offered to the Queensland and Australian cultural community by Somerset College as its contribution to the literary and cultural landscape of the nation.

Bury your nose in a book on Surfers Paradise Beach at the Storyfest Beach Library on the sand. You can pick up a previously loved book from the bookcases lined on the beach and get lost in a new story while relaxing by the sea or take home for a new adventure. This is not just any ordinary library, these books you can take home for FREE!!!
