HEADLINERS

Jimmy Barnes is the heart and the soul of Australian rock & roll. After 40 years on stages of all kinds, Jimmy is an icon who has been through it all and lived to tell the tale. This has earned him a place in Australia’s heart and heartland. Along the way he has sold more records in Australia than any other domestic rock & roll artist. After 10 years fronting Cold Chisel, with hits that are virtually national anthems, like You Got Nothing I Want and Flame Trees, Jimmy went solo in 1984. His 1986 album, For the Working Class Man, gave him a signature tune and cemented Jimmy’s place right at the centre of this generation of Australians. And here he has stayed 'til this day. Jimmy’s live shows are legendary for their intensity and we can’t wait for him to ROCK the LIVE stage as our festival headliner on Saturday 5th May!

Our second Saturday night headliner is Australian rock legend, Daryl Braithwaite, who first found fame as lead singer of Sherbet, a band synonymous with the 70s. Far from an exercise in revisiting past glories and greatest hits (of which, of course, there are plenty), Forever the Tourist released in 2014 revealed a brand new stunning chapter in Daryl’s unparalleled career. The centrepiece of this new chapter is the anthemic single, Not Too Late. This sparkling song looks set to join Daryl’s cannon of uplifting classics, including One Summer, As The Days Go By and The Horses, plus countless timeless gems from his days fronting Sherbet, such as Summer Love, Howzat and Cassandra. Daryl Braithewaite remains an integral part of the evolution and development of Australian popular music and a must see live on stage at the festival!
