Surfers Paradise becomes a playground of light, music and entertainment over two huge nights. Sea to sky will light up over Surfers Paradise beach in dramatic displays as nations compete for the 2019 title at Australia’s only international fireworks competition, SeaFire, from 31 May -1 June.
Setting off world-class pyrotechnic displays from ocean barges, and choreographed to musical soundtracks, teams from the USA, South Korea and New Zealand will compete in the Challenge Final on Friday night. Saturday night will see the successful team contest the 2018 winner, Team Philippines, for the SeaFire championship. The event will finish with a bang as SkyLighter, Australia’s leading pyrotechnics team, light up the sky with an Australian exhibition piece.
Thrilling aerial spectacles will spark each night’s entertainment – stuntmen and skydivers decked in the brightest and loudest fireworks will fall from the sky, while jet skis will cut through the whitewash below, leaving a trail of light in their wake. Cavill Mall will be alive with multicultural acts and the award-winning Beachfront Markets will be operating both nights from 4pm - 9pm.
Be ignited and excited across two action-packed nights at Australia’s best beachfront fireworks event.
With so much to see and do, including nightly multi-cultural performances in Cavill Mall and on the foreshore, come in early or stay late and experience one of the inviting restaurants, bars or attractions located within Surfers Paradise.
